Error: "EventsManager has stopped working" When Updating License

Overview

You are trying to update the license key in EventsManager but the application crashes with the following error:



This issue may be caused by the fact that there is no free space on the drive where EventsManager is installed.

Solution

1. Remove some files from the drive where EventsManager is installed to free up space.
   The default installation path is:
   C:\Program Files (x86)\GFI\EventsManager13
   
   
2. Apply the license key again if it wasn't saved. 
   If you encounter an error that the license key is invalid, refer to the article License Is Not Working.
   
   
3. Additionally, follow the steps to delete unnecessary logs and enable DB rotation as described in the article How To Maintain Database With Reasonable Size - this will help you to avoid running out of free space again.
