No. Performing SQL auditing on the same Microsoft SQL Server that is currently being used as database backend by GFI EventsManager will have a serious impact on the performance of the server, especially if the audited events are to be archived.
Each record written into the database can generate a few audit messages which will be also written into the database thus there could be an infinite loop of messages.
GFI strongly recommends not to perform SQL auditing on the same server that is currently being used as database backend by GFI EventsManager
