Overview
You may need to install the latest patches for EventsManager 13.2 when experiencing various issues with the application (e.g., missing records in the Job Activity or Events Browser, application crashes, etc.).
Solution
Note: If you are using an older EventsManager version, upgrade EventsManager to version 13.2 first, which is the latest available version. Make sure to back up and restore your configuration.

Close the EventsManager application.
- Stop the EventsManager services:
- Run the Services app.
- Stop the GFI Database Server 2.1, GFI EventsManager and GFI EventsManager Monitor services.
- Run the Services app.

Open Task Manager and terminate esmcfgsrv.exe and any other EventsManager task that is still running.

Download the following zip files:

Empty Job Activity Fix
Note: If your EventsManager Server is offline, you need to download the files using a PC with internet access.
- Unblock the downloaded files.
- Extract the archives once they are unblocked.

Copy the
EvtMgrs.dll
andplstatus.dll
to the EventsManager installation directory, replacing the existing files.
The default installation path is:C:\Program Files (x86)\GFI\EventsManager13

Start EventsManager Services that were stopped in step 2.
Testing
If the issue is still present, submit a request to GFI support to investigate the case, including Troubleshooter Logs.
