Overview
You may face an issue that the application is very slow, crashes, or freezes: you cannot switch between the tabs, the starting screen is stuck.
This issue may happen when your database became too big, you ran out of free space, or some records in the DB became corrupted.
Solution
- Check that you have enough free space on the disk where EventsManager and database are stored.
The default installation paths are :C:\Program Files (x86)\GFI\Database Server 2.1C:\Program Files (x86)\GFI\EventsManager13 - If there is no free disk space, remove some files from your drive and then purge old EventsManager records that you don't need anymore. If there is enough free disk space, proceed to the next step.
- Create a new database.
It is also recommended to set up Database Rotation to keep database with reasonable size.
If the issue persists, submit a request to GFI Support, including EventsManager logs.
